Do you have what it takes to conquer The Lake? Join us on Friday, May 2 for the Winston Lake Cup. This event is a two-part day with a charity golf competition and a party after play ends. Winston Lake GC is one of golf’s most historic landmarks. The course’s creation during the Civil Rights Movement is a testament to its early founders. Today “The Lake” is a treasure for many in the community and has served as Forsyth County’s home base of First Tee - Central Carolina since 2007. The course is currently undergoing a major renovation to improve playing conditions and overall guest experience. The project includes over 40 acres of tree removal to improve turf conditions and a fully refurbished practice range. All proceeds from the Winston Lake Cup support First Tee - Central Carolina whose mission is providing life-changing opportunities to youth through golf.
